Head of Engineering
We are seeking a head of engineering to lead the daily operations of the development team as well as build out and evolve our technical architecture and product roadmap. As a lean and fast growing startup, everyone has to wear many hats. You will not shy away from challenges outside of tech and product. At Versify, you will not hear someone say “that is not my job.”
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of the development team
- Architect services that enables the platform to adapt and grow
- Ensure all code pushed to production is trustworthy and secure
- Debug production issues across multiple levels of the stack
- Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
- Onboard and train other engineers
- Act as a liaison between CEO and development team
- Stay on top of new web3 trends and cutting-edge tech for the business
- Constantly prioritize workloads against available resources, level of impact, and desired business outcome
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience, including leading a 5+ person engineering team
- Track record with frontend frameworks such as React & Javascript
- Track record with a backend programming language such as Python or Node
- Excellent communication and writing skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Track record with a smart contract language such as Solidity
- Prior experience delivering technical solutions in a high-growth SaaS environment
